Recipe Remix III
We’d like to thank everyone again who participated in rounds 1 and 2. It is thanks to all of you that we are able to come back for another round! The creativity we have seen keeps us going and hopefully has inspired readers and participants alike to be more creative in the kitchen.
The latest installment of Recipe Remix revolves around summertime!! Yes, we are talking about cookout favorites/staples! For us, cookouts are one of the best things about summer, nothing better than getting together with friends and family surrounded by yummy summer favorites!
We have chosen the following cookout/grilled foods for “remixing”:
- Hot Dogs
- Grilled pizza
- Grilled Desserts
- Hamburgers
- Pasta or Potato Salad
- Kabobs
As in past Recipe Remixes, we are giving you all an option of 6 different to choose from as you please. Your goal is to take one of these choices and create a variation of it that is not the “everyday.” For instance, maybe you have a great idea for a gourmet hot dog, or an asian inspired pasta salad, or a killer grilled pineapple dessert recipe. As you can see by the roundups from past Recipe Remixes - the possibilities in these categories are endless!
Once you have created your own version of the dish chosen from the above list (we ask that this is a new blog entry, and not one from the past), blog about it, linking back to this post and/or inserting one of the logos into your entry, and post a picture your dish on your blog as well - so we can see the awesome yum-factor of your dish of course! As always, if the dish is not your own creative work, please reference your source in your blog post.
After you have blogged about your creation, please send us an email with “Recipe Remix: (Dish you have chosen)” in the subject line and the following information in your email:
o Your name,
o Your location
o Your blog name and link to your blog,
o The permalink to your blog entry for this challenge,
o A picture of your creation,
o A short explanation for why you chose the dish and how you were inspired to create the variation of it that you did
If you do not have a blog, feel free to email us with the above information (sans blog permalink of course!). Recipe Remix starts today so get cooking!
The summer is a busy time for us all, especially myself and Dani, so for this round, we are extending this to be a full summer installment of Recipe Remix. So, in that vein, all entries are due by Wednesday, September 3rd. We will aim to post the roundup within 2 weeks of the deadline.
Since we are splitting the duty of Recipe Remix co-hosts (and hence are splitting the roundup duties), please email your submission via the below schedule:
If you have chosen any of the following dishes: Hamburgers, Pasta or Potato salad, or Kabobs please email Robin at: RecipeRemix-Robin at hotmail dot com.
If you have chosen any of the following dishes: Hot Dogs, Grilled Pizzas, or Grilled Desserts, please email Danielle at RecipeRemix-Dani at cox dot net.
We have been so impressed by all of the creativity we have seen so keep up the good work! Have a wonderful summer and Happy Remixing!!!

RR 2: Breakfast Roundup!
French Toast
French toast just isn't for the "French" anymore! As you will see by our entries, these French toast recipes are inspired by all different cultures and regions!
From Washington D.C. Amy from Tart Reform has joined us for the second round of Recipe Remix with an absolutely delicious looking Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast. She made it using fresh challah bread she had made previously. Peanut butter and bananas are a great combination to begin with, but sandwich it into some French toast and this must have been a little slice of heaven. Definitely a breakfast Elvis would have enjoyed!!
Bananas and French toast seem make a great combination as Kristy located in South Carolina, from her blog, Kristy’s Recipes shares a delightful Upside-Down Banana Pecan French Toast which she made for Mother’s day. I have to say, Kristy, that your guests must have loved this one. It sounds like a great new version of French toast I’ve got to try out soon!
From Canada, Ricki enchants us with this lovely French Toast Souffle with Summer Berries from her blog, Diet, Dessert, and Dogs. Ricki actually had an aversion to French Toast prior to this recipe and loved the fact that she could use this challenge as an excuse to make it into something she would really enjoy. She also baked this instead of frying it to make it much healthier. Thanks for the great spin on the classic French Toast, Ricki!
Jen, from Mrs. Watermelon’s Recipes, a fellow Rhode Islander, joins the fun of this Recipe Remix round with her Apple Cinnamon French Toast. Mmmm…it reminds me of a French Toast / apple pie combination! Can it get much better than that??? Jen was happy to report her and her husband both gave this recipe an A!
When I saw this next entry come in I thought it was way too good to be true. Yes, Chicago’s own Elly from Elly Says Opa made a Baklava French...errr...Greek Toast! Seriously, these are the kinds of dishes that keep Dani and I going with Recipe Remix. Elly’s version looks absolutely astounding, kind of in a “I wish I had smell-o-vision on my computer” way. Great job, Elly!
Nearby in Boston, MA, Stephanie from Confessions of a City Eater takes a staple lunchbox sandwich and turns it into a delicious breakfast of Peanut Butter and Jelly French Toast. This is another great idea and a perfect example of why French Toast doesn’t just have to be French Toast! Thanks for the entry, Stephanie, I plan to make this for my hubby who is a huge PB&J fan, very soon!
We are joined by Australia’s own Dell of Cooking and the City whose Bacon Stuffed French Toast looks like it might clog a few arteries but also looks like it’s a great combination. Dell loves French Toast so she is always looking for new variations of it. Thanks for this great one, Dell!
Another international participant pays a visit to Recipe Remix, this time from Trinidad! Sarina Nicole of TriniGourmet brings us Oatsy Orange French Toast. Not only does this recipe sound great, but look at the photography! Thanks for joining us this round, Sarina! Your variation just looks divine!
Crepes
Sweet, Savory, Stuffed....either way you slice it...crepes are versatile in nature and we love the entries we received for this one!
We really got a lot of international participation for this Recipe Remix challenge. Arfi from HomeMadeS is living in New Zealand but was homesick for Dardar Galung, Indonesian Green Crepes stuffed with Sweetened Coconut Threads. These are beautiful and look delicious! Arfi also has some great pictures on her blog too.
Stephany, a local Rhode Islander, from Realistic Eats shows us that crepes aren’t just for breakfast! She brings us a savory crepe dish with Mushroom, Spinach and Ham Crepes with Bechamel Swiss Cheese Sauce. She was actually inspired to make this dish by another blog she’d read that said crepes are some of the more economical meals you can make for yourself. This looks fantastic. Stephany, and thanks for joining us!!
Elsye from Japan brings us Crepes with Applesauce in her blog Dari Dapur Saya. I wish I could just eat these now. They look delectable and the homemade apple sauce is an extra special touch! Thanks so much for showing us another variation on crepes, Elsye!
Continental Breakfast
We had one entry for the Continental Breakfast challenge, Mindy from Mindy’s Deli in Venezuela. Mindy made a jalapeno cheese loaf for the event. I am really excited about this recipe—I’m a big fan of jalapenos and since I’m also new to eating onions, I can totally see this paired with a good old-fashioned Western Omelet! Thanks for your spicy recipe Mindy!
Breakfast Sandwich
For our breakfast sandwich remix, we see Sefa of Food is Love in Germany entry. Other than beautiful pictures of her amazing presentation, I love this recipe also once again because of the use of chilis in it. I love chilis and love when there are new recipes for me to use them with—especially a breakfast recipe. Sefa’s description of her dish is:
“I'm not a big fan of sandwich like my hubby. But still, sandwich is one of my choices whenever I'm in hurry. That's why I chose to remix egg breakfast sandwich for my entry. I want to make something that combined the taste of Arabian and Indonesian (as representation of my better half as Arabian and me as Indonesian). That's why I used pita bread (known in Germany as Arabic Bread) instead of toast and added red chili for the omelet. But, I want my egg breakfast sandwich at least to have American taste by adding Tabasco in the omelet.)”
This is an exotic take on a usually quick, to-go breakfast that I will be trying shortly! Thanks Sefa!
Robin of Made With Love in New England made a Grilled Chourico Breakfast Sandwich. Robin chose to make breakfast for dinner and use a lot of flavorful ingredients, such as spicey brown mustard, chourico sausage, multi-grain rolls, and an onion-garlic butter--this also screams summer time breakfast!!
Pancakes
Pancakes—who doesn’t love them? They are quintessentially one of THE breakfast foods, but they are so easy to turn into a monotonous one! Check out the following remixes from our culinary friends.
Retno of Kedai Hamburg in Germany made Pancakes with homemade pineapple jam. What I really like about Retno’s recipe is that her pancakes are very much more like a crepe, than a traditional pancake. Crepes are wonderfully yummy, especially when paired with the right filling or topping. The homemade pineapple jam sounds delicious and will be making an appearance this summer for sure! Thanks Retno!
Danielle (me) of Make No Little Meals in New England made Sweet Potato-Banana Walnut Pancakes. I was inspired by two different recipes—sweet potato pancakes and Tyler Florence’s sweet-honey banana mash. The flavors of Tyler’s dinner side dish were so wonderful that I thought they could be applied to a sweet potato pancake that I had once at a local restaurant chain. They are not as sweet as you might think—give them a try if you are a fan of one or both of these main ingredients! (PHOTO TO COME)
Kate of Paved With Good Intentions turned her pancakes into dessert—Yes, that is right! Hey, you’v heard of breakfast for diner so why not breakfast for dessert?! Kate made fantastic blueberry pancakes and topped it with ice cream for a Pancake Sundae! I would never have thought of this in a million years, but it totally works! Great job Kate!
Ayin from Flower in the Kitchen in Norway made a great crepe-like pancake recipe: Dill Pancakes with Smoked Salmon. This recipe is a great recipe for a brunch—or in my opinion even for a breakfast for dinner option. The dill in this recipe screams summer time to me—and for those of you that don’t like smoked salmon, (like me) I am totally digging the sound of this stuffed with lemon-dill chicken! Thanks Ayin!
Robert of Amicus Cupcake made pina colda pancakes—can we say perfect for a summer time breakfast?! His blog entry is wonderful—he recounted his trial and error process pretty well for everyone to read. The end result looks fantastic and is making me crave a frosty tropical drink! Great interpretation for his FIRST BLOGGING EVENT! Great job Robert!
Finally, Dulcedo presented us with a wonderful rendition of Gourmet Magazine’s Banana Macadamia Pancakes with Orange Butter. The story presented is wonderful, and the food looks amazing! I’m a big fan of flavored butters and think that recipe is really one I’m planning on trying very soon! Thanks Dulcedo!

Recipe Remix - Part II
Our first time out with this challenge was a great experience for both Danielle and I. We’d like to thank everyone again who participated. It is thanks to you we have been able to come back with a second installment of Recipe Remix! This time around we hope to at least double our participation and I think with this next theme we may be able to do so!
I am sure you have been anxiously awaiting the next theme for the Recipe Remix challenge. Let me just say, Danielle and I have a TON of great ideas in the works for future Recipe Remixes. Many are seasonal so you’ll just have to sit tight and wait for those.
In the meantime, the latest installment of Recipe Remix revolves around: Breakfast! Yes, breakfast, the most important meal of the day!
We have chosen the following breakfast foods for “remixing”:
- Pancakes
- French Toast
- Crepes
- Eggs Benedict
- Egg Breakfast Sandwich (think: typical fast food chain fare)
- Continental Breakfast (includes cold items such as: muffins, Danish, cinnamon rolls, breads, etc.)
Again, we are giving you all an option of 6 different to choose from as you please. Your goal is to take one of those dishes and create a variation of it that is not the “everyday.” For instance, maybe you have a great idea for a stuffed French toast, or a gourmet version of a breakfast egg sandwich, or maybe a savory stuffed crepe. The possibilities are endless!
All entries are due by Wednesday, May 28th. Look for the roundup of all of the scrumptious entries, right here, no later than May 29th.
Since Robin & Danielle are splitting the duty of Recipe Remix co-hosts (and hence are splitting the roundup duties), please email your submission via the below schedule:
If you have chosen any of the following dishes: Pancakes, French Toast, or Crepes please email Robin at: RecipeRemix-Robin at hotmail dot com.
If you have chosen any of the following dishes: Eggs Benedict, Egg Breakfast Sandwich, or Continental Breakfast, please email Danielle at RecipeRemix-Dani at cox dot net.
We saw so much creativity for our first challenge that we truly look forward to seeing what you all come up with for our breakfast theme. Happy Remixing!!!
And of course, please use our logos above when blogging about your creation. As you can see, Danielle has spiffed them up a bit to coincide with our latest theme!

Remix Round Up!
WOW! We are truly impressed--not counting Robin and myself we have 15-entries for the First Installment of Recipe Remix! We didn't think we would get this many entries our first time our of the gate--thanks to all who participated! Thanks to our "Remixer" turnout we will be back for a second installment within the next couple of weeks so check back often! We want to see you back again and hope to add a few more entrants this time around!
We had some amazing recipes comes our way this time--never would I have thought to have tomato soup and grilled cheese as a breakfast item! And a burger that is a taco?! Everyone had wonderful recipes, and I know that I can speak for Robin and say that we have some recipes on our "to try" list! Thanks again to everyone that participated--we are really happy with the turn out and couldn't have done it without your help!
Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup (Robin)
Grilled cheese and tomato soup. What is it about the combination that makes our taste buds tingle? I think we all have memories of dipping our piping-hot-from-the-griddle grilled cheese right into our steaming bowl of tomato soup as a kid. Nothing says comfort food like this combination and it seems as though many of you agreed as I believe we got the most entries for this category!
First up is Amy of Washington D.C. of Tart Reform. Amy made an absolutely delectable looking Italian Grilled Cheese and a Tortellini Tomato soup! She chose the grilled cheese to be an appetizer idea for a party she is hosting. She decided to give the whole meal an Italian twist with the Vodka sauce in the grilled cheese and pasta in the soup. I tell you, my mouth is watering right now just looking at the picture! Amy, when is your party? (so I know when to stop by of course!)
Next we have Kim of Portsmouth, VA from Live Laugh Love Eat, with her Grilled Cheese on Focaccia with Tomato Pesto Bisque. Kim chose this since it is one of her all-time favorite comfort food dishes (mine too!). What a great idea to put the grilled cheese on focaccia, which she had made herself from scratch, with the Kerrygold aged cheddar. I can almost taste it now! Great job, Kim!!
An entry from New York comes via Amanda of Mrs. W’s Kitchen who brings a great creative twist to our challenge by taking the bread out of the grilled cheese and making it into a frico, a crispy bite of romano cheese. I never would have thought of this in a million years! Her Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Soup along with the Frico looks absolutely delicious and something you could serve to company. Nothing like taking a comfort food and making it elegant. Amanda also had health in mind when making this dish and opted to lighten up the soup and of course the grilled cheese by going sans bread. Thanks, Amanda!
Next we have Kate from Orange County, CA of Paved with Good Intentions. I feel like Kate and I have become blogging buddies. I love getting comments from her and leaving her some of my own! She has a great sense of humor so I was psyched when she participated. Because of the hot weather out in California (I’m so jealous!) Kate didn’t want to make a hot soup and instead made a killer looking Gazpacho and a Toasted Cheese with Olives. I feel like I’m back in Madrid right now looking at that gazpacho and man, that toasted cheese with olives is calling my name.
Another entry came to us from sunny California, San Diego to be exact, from Ashley of Introducing Ashley. Ashley dove from the creative cooking diving board and executed a perfect reverse double pike (Ok, I know nothing about diving and had to look that up on Wikipedia, sounds cool at least, right?) by turning dinner, into breakfast! Yes, that’s right with her Grilled Cream Cheese and Strawberry Soup Ashley has forever changed the face of Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup. First off this looks delicious and I wish it was sitting on my breakfast table each and every morning, but secondly, this is a very well-balanced and healthy way to start your day. Thanks for taking our idea for this challenge and totally rocking it out, Ashley!
Alexandra from New York State of Addicted Sweet Tooth brings us what I like to call a "why didn't I think of that myself?" moment. With the tomato soup being served in a grilled cheese cup Alexandra really showed us her creative genius! After reading this entry I pretty much day dreamt about this variation the rest of the day. Not only is this a great twist on the original, but it’s easy to do which I love. Thanks, Alexandra, for making us Recipe Remixers proud!
Last but not least is Danielle of Make No Little Meals, yes, the same Danielle who co-hosts this challenge. Both her and I wanted to enter ourselves by picking one of the other's 3 choices. If we challenge others we should be challenging ourselves as well, right? Danielle made an awesome Fennel-Apple Grilled Cheese with Onion-Fennel Tomato Soup Puree. Yeah...one word: YUM! Danielle was not only able to make a healthy gourmet meal out of the old grilled cheese and tomato soup, but she was also able to turn her “doubting Thomas” hubby (who cringed at the original site of the un-pureed soup) to a believer. I can see why, this sounds and looks like a fabulous meal!
Shepherd's Pie (Robin)
Next up, Shepherd’s Pie! This was the dish that was the inspiration to start Recipe Remix and was the meal I most looked forward to my mother making when I was a kid. I hearty meal wrapped up into one dish is simply the definition of comfort food. This was another popular entry into our first event. We received some really wonderful recipes that showcase some of the never thought of possibilities this dish presents. They are sure to knock your socks off!
Our first entry came all the way from Hamburg, Germany courtesy of Petra of Food Freak! Petra chose this dish because she wanted to make a low carb Shepherd’s Pie for some time and came up with a creative twist to her Not Your Mother’s Shepherd’s Pie. She used a combination of cauliflower and celeriac for the mashed layer and a 50/50 combination of ground beef and ground lamb. Along with many other creative touches, including the addition of ginger and chili, Petra gives us a rich new fresh look at the traditional. Thanks, Petra!
From Alabama, Deborah of What’s in My Kitchen takes Shepherd’s Pie and turned it into a vegetarian Indian dish. Deborah’s best friend is a vegetarian, so when she was coming over for dinner, Deborah turned to the inspiration of Indian cooking to create Indian Shepherd’s Pie. And boy, does it look good! I can just imagine how wonderful Deborah’s kitchen must have smelled while her awesome variation of this dish was in her oven!
Next is Heather of Sherry Trifle with her Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie with Goats' Cheese Mash. When I read this entry, I think I may have drooled a little. I literally wished I had a huge heaping plate of this sitting in front of me that very moment. I heart goat cheese! And I love the fact that this entry represents another vegetarian version of a typically meat-ridden dish! This is exactly the kind of creativity we were looking for, Heather, thanks so much for your entry (oh, and send me some when you get a chance!)
Baked Ziti (Robin)
Last but certainly not least is Baked Ziti. For me, there are few things that are better than a hot plate of baked ziti with tons of gooey-melty cheese on top. It screams comfort food, but I was curious what other variations participants could devise. We only received one Baked Ziti entry but it’s one I want to go out and try – like tomorrow - so it was all worth it!
From our neighboring New England state comes Jessica from Braintree, MA of Fearless Kitchen. She brings us a delectable looking Baked Ziti with Chorizo and Three Cheeses. Jessica chose this dish because Baked Ziti felt most natural to her being of Italian decent but she wanted to make it a bit healthier by adding veggies and she wanted something that could be made ahead and reheated and still retain its quality. Looks like she did both. Plus she also gave us a very tasty twist on the original dish! Mmmmmmm…I really think I could just stare at that picture all day! Thank you, Jessica!
Tacos! (Dani)
We got a lot of taco entries—and why not? Tacos are great! Some of my fondest memories of family dinners revolve around tacos—from me chopping away at veggies with my mom at the ripe old age of 8 to my grandmother not being able to pronounce the word properly and calling them “tac-osh”, tacos have been a staple in my family for years. I’ve had tacos so often that I could make them in my sleep, but what happens when you get bored with the same old taco? These four Recipe Remixers have taken the family staple of tacos and remixed them into a new and fun recipe.
Kristy of Kristy’s Recipes in South Carolina took a bold step and made her tacos into a burger! Kristy’s ground chicken taco burgers were inspired by a recipe she saw on allrecipes.com. With the summer months coming up quickly I’ll be breaking out my grill and I know that this recipe will be one of the first I try. Great job on being so creative and inventive—I never would have thought to shed the tortilla for a hamburger bun!
Holly of Phe/MOM/enon in Utah created a great recipe for a black bean and corn salad! What I love about this recipe is its versatility—you could place it inside a taco shell, use a tortilla bowl, wrap it in a flour tortilla, or even serve it over or along side a steak or chicken! This recipe is really great for the summer as there is no “cooking” involved—just chopping. What better recipe to beat the summer heat than one that doesn’t require you to turn on the stove or the oven?!
Another recipe from out west is Rachel’s of Culinary Kicks in Arizona. Rachel prepared for us a dish from allrecipes.com called Lentil Tacos! First off-thanks for making us your very first Food Blog Challenge Rachel!! You will become addicted to challenges—trust me! What I liked about this recipe was that it was a vegetarian friendly dish. Using lentils instead of traditional meat is great. I’m not typically a lentil fan but this recipe seems to pack a lot of flavor into it—I will plan on trying this recipe in the future for sure! Great job Rachel!
Lastly, tacos are not just popular family meals in America as Dell from Cooking in the City all the way in Australia shows us! Dell used sliced beef in lieu of ground beef for her recipe, which is a nice reminder of just by changing the cut of meat you change the texture and flavor of the meal. Dell had a great idea of also using pitas instead of hard taco shells—again, change the wrapper you remix the meal! Great job Dell!
Meatloaf! (Dani)
Our first and only meat recipe comes from Jennifer from our neck of the woods in New England. Jennifer has a great blog entitled The Spice Must Flow. Jennifer prepared a Middle Eastern Meatloaf Roll for us. Jennifer’s recipe is really great—she really took the challenge head on. Not being a fan of meatloaf (I completely sympathize with you Jennifer!), she really challenged herself and used non-traditional ingredients such as ground lamb, cumin, and cinnamon. Also, another great aspect of this recipe is it replaces the traditional ketchup topping with a yogurt topping—these flavors really remind me of fresh, bright, springtime. Thanks for this marvelous addition to our round up—this recipe really inspired me to test my limits with what dishes I dislike and how I can make them into something that I would like! Photo Credit: Michael Curry
Franks and Beans (Dani)
Our only entry for franks and beans comes from co-host Robin of Made With Love . Right off the bat—I HATE franks and beans ha ha! I had them as a kid and just one day decided that I didn’t like them. It’s not the franks or the beans I don’t like—I’ll eat them separately but for some reason the combination of the two makes me want to gag—until I saw Robin’s Franks n’ Beans Panini! Seriously—franks and beans in a sandwich?! Robin that is great! I also love the fact that Robin used kielbasa instead of regular hot dogs! Honestly, I never would have thought to put this in a sandwich, never mind subbing in the kielbasa. This is a recipe I will be trying this summer—I love making paninis on the grill outside, and what says summer more than baked beans? It was a staple at all of our summer picnics growing up!

Recipe Remix makes its debut!!!!
In the beginning there were two friends, two friends who shared the love of cooking, baking, and food blogging. These two friends were Danielle & Robin.
One day, not so long ago, these two friends decided to take part in a foodie blog challenge. Little did they know that this first challenge would catapult them into wanting to take part in more and more food blog challenges and events. Soon they’d want to have their own.
It all began one day after Robin wrote a recent blog entry about different ways of making Shepherd’s Pie - a comfort food staple. She waxed poetic that often such “staples” are made with little variation noting that we may all have our own pre-conceived notions of what some dishes should, and should not include, emphasizing that we should all be so inclined to try something different in even our “staple” dishes that we may be narrow-minded about. Robin realized that this “cooking outside the pot” as she referred to it, was something that could easily turn into a blog challenge of its own.
Robin talked to Danielle about her idea to a) obtain her sage foodie opinion on the idea, and b) ask her if she’d be willing to be her co-host of this blog challenge. Danielle immediately accepted and the two went on a brainstorming frenzy. After several iterations of the name of this blog challenge, Danielle proposed “Recipe Remix” and created its state-of-the-art logo. Did we mention she’s the creative one?
The goal of this challenge? Give food bloggers the option of making any choice from set list of dishes – all of which could be considered “mundane” or “everyday” – and ask them to show us a twist, maybe some flair, or just their own creative interpretation to the dish.
Welcome to Recipe Remix!!
We invite you to join us in our first foray into the world of food blog challenges via the first installment of Recipe Remix!!
For this first go-around we have chosen 6 "staple" meals and they are:
- Shepherd’s Pie
- Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup
- Baked Ziti
- Franks & Beans
- Tacos
- Meatloaf
A few rules for this challenge:
As explained above, this challenge entails choosing one meal from a the list above, and taking that dish to a different creative level. For example, maybe you have a great idea for some fish tacos, or a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with a killer spicy tomato soup, or maybe you've always wanted to use sweet potatoes in a Shepherd's pie. Your recipe can either be your own original interpretation of the dish or a recipe you’ve found. If it is not your original work, you must note the source of the recipe in your blog entry (same goes for any pictures that are not your own).
Once you have created your own version of the dish chosen from the above list, blog about it, linking back to this post and/or inserting the logo above into your entry, and post a picture your dish on your blog as well - so we can see the awesome yum-factor of your dish of course! After you have blogged about your creation, please send us an email with “Recipe Remix” in the subject line and the following information in your email:
o Your name,
o Your location
o Your blog name and link to your blog,
o The permalink to your blog entry for this challenge,
o A picture of your creation,
o A short explanation for why you chose the dish, your take on it, & your thoughts on the outcome
If you do not have a blog, feel free to email us with the above information (sans blog permalink of course!).
Recipe Remix starts today so get cooking! All entries are due by Wednesday, April 16th. Look for the roundup of all of the scrumptious entries, right here, no later than April 21st.
Since Robin & Danielle are splitting the duty as Recipe Remix co-hosts (and hence are splitting the roundup duties), please email your submission via the below schedule:
